Nothing

So I just went to upload some pictures to make a post and my camera battery ran out so it couldn't import any pictures. Ha! I really don't have much to say.

The kids were all eating apples tonight. Scottorn had a Granny Smith, Lily a Red Delicious, and Ammon and Anna each had Pink Lady. They were all sitting on the living room floor chomping away. It was so cute! I love them!

Scottorn LOVES blueberries and is always standing next to the fridge signing "more" to tell me he wants some. Lately his fingertips have been stained from eating so many! He also loves the horse they got for Christmas. He walks up to it and kisses it then knocks it over so he can lay down on it and kiss it from head to toe. I need to get it on film. It is so cute. Actually, I do have it on my camera, but my camera isn't on right now :) Later.

Last week Ammon and Lily were chasing each other around and being rough as usual and Ammon "accidentally" (he says that too much) ripped Lily's earring out of her ear. She was hysterical and thought it was stuck in her ear. I had to explain that it was just where the hole in her ear was for her earring that she was feeling. It was a pretty crazy event. Lots of screaming and crying and then laughing. Ammon was a good big brother and found both the earring and the back to it. We were all crawling around the kitchen floor looking over every inch. Ammon said (before he found it) that whoever found it got $15. I told him he could pay it since he was the one who made it come it. He came out even :)

Scottorn continues to love playing in the toilet, with the toilet paper, the toilet brush and the plunger. Gross, I know. Adam was saying how nice it would be to get him potty-trained and I laughed and said that as long as he thinks it is a toy we will have NO luck there. Funny kid he is! My favorite is when I have just bathed him and got him nice clean clothes and we are all ready for the day and someone leaves the door open and then I hear him swishing around in the water. It is even better when Anna forgets to flush and then he has a little something more than water to play with. BLAH! :( He thinks it is great though because then he gets a second bath, which he LOVES plus he got to play in the toilet and he already had a first bath. So that works out to three fun outings with water all in one morning. What a lucky boy!

Anna is learning to write her name and LOVES preschool. She asks everyday if it is a preschool day. She loves to sing and color and dance and dress up. She goes through about six different outfits or dress-ups every day. There is constantly a pile of clothes on her floor. I can't keep it clean. She inherited Lily's old bike and we put the training wheels on it. She loves it so much. I keep using that word, I guess I LOVE the word LOVE! You can't help use it when you talk about her though (well any of my kids for that matter!) The other day she rode it for over an hour straight. Back and forth on the back porch. Her poor bottom didn't appreciate that. A few things she says that I absolutely adore are "Strawberry Cake Cake" and "Seriously!" She is a true character and is so much fun! She is always making me laugh. She is very expressive and has two volumes, LOUD and LOUDER! Quiet is something we are working on fitting into her vocabulary.

Lily LOVES school. She loves her teacher. She loves her friends. She loves homework. She loves to learn. She loves to read. She actually gets upset with me if I tell her to stop doing her homework! She is so different than Ammon in that regard. She stills loves her best friend Jordan. She is doing well with the piano. She has a loose tooth, her first! She said tonight that she wanted to grow her hair long like Rapunzel's. I don't think that will ever happen. She hates snarls and that is why she loves her hair short. I think it is cute on her, but I do miss her long hair. Oh, Scottorn loves Lily to pieces. She is so good to him. He always wants her to hold him and he loves her animals. She gets mad when he takes them though because he slobbers all over them when he kisses them. But, she loves him to pieces too!

Ammon is doing well in school and is such a good boy. He knows what is right and I am always so proud of him when he tells me about things from school or with friends that aren't right. I am glad he is observant and is recognizing things. He loves Scouts and friends and wants a new bike. Our neighbor said he could have his old one, but we are waiting for it. I wonder if it would be rude to go over and ask for it? We gave his bike to Lily, which we are going to paint pink for her. Anyway, he wants a bike. He is also doing well with piano but his heart is set on the electric guitar. Why?! I do not like it. I told him he has to learn on an acoustic first and then electric. That will be several more years, I hope! He really enjoys reading and although he says he doesn't always love school I think he does.

Adam is as wonderful and great as ever. Actually, I think he is better. I love how my love for him keeps growing. It just keeps getting better and better. I love him more all the time. I see how much he does and who he is and I feel so happy to be his. Life is good. He is so busy with work right now but we are so glad he has so much! He should be finishing up tomorrow with his first trial. He has done a few others, but this one he was first chair on and has done it all himself. Although he has been so tired and stressed, he has loved it. I love when he practices what he is going to say on me. It is fun to watch him. I am glad he loves his work because I can honestly say that I would not like being a lawyer. He is so good at it though!

Funny that I titled my post "Nothing," and then said I didn't have anything to say...I guess I was wrong. I had A LOT to say. Hopefully I will remember to charge my camera tomorrow so I can post some pictures. They are always better than words!
