Scottorn's Blessing

We blessed Scottorn yesterday at church and he cried through the whole thing. I was glad that I was still able to hear everything Adam said. It was a nice blessing and he looked so handsome in his little outfit. My mom came in Friday morning to spend the weekend and Adam's parents came up Sunday morning. We had a nice lunch after church and invited the Shannon's over to eat with us as well. They are great friends! I also spoke in Sacrament meeting on how the priesthood has blessed my life. It was a great topic to be able to speak on. I am so thankful for Adam and the wonderful husband he is. I am thankful he honors his priesthood and is able to bless our family by doing so.

We had a great Halloween. We carved our pumpkins Saturday and thankfully Anna wasn't scared of them this year. Last year she was terrified of them! We even baked our pumpkin seeds this year. Ammon was happy about that. They were okay, I think I could have cooked them a little longer. We trick or treated only in our development and the kid's bags were full clear to the top, except Anna's because hers was bigger. When we got home, she kept taking candy out of our Halloween bowl and adding it to her bag. She is hilarious! The kids have way too much candy. We are going to save the rest of it for our gingerbread houses. They had a great time trick or treating. I am so glad it was so warm! It was a beautiful and perfect night!

I can't believe Scottorn is already two months old! He is still the happiest and sweetest baby ever! He is so easy going and is getting to be so much fun. He is smiling and cooing when you talk to him and he loves to talk to daddy. He always lights up and smiles when Adam holds him and talks to him. It is so sweet. He also loves his brother and sisters and will smile at them even if they aren't really looking at him. For the most part he is sleeping well, except for Saturday, Sunday and Monday when he was up at 3:30 and 4:30 in the morning! He is making life so wonderful for us all. We absolutely adore him and are so glad to have him in our family! He is still growing a ton! Today he is 14 1/2 pounds and at 8 weeks he was about 13 1/2. So, he is slowing down a little, only half a pound a week now instead of a full pound! He still he is quite chubby and I love it!
