Anna is now 9 months old! She is still cute as ever, although a little grumpy. She is a super light sleeper and doesn't want to miss anything that is going on, so she doesn't nap for very long. When she wakes up in the morning she is happy and fun but as the day goes on she gets more and more tired and by bed time she is hysterical! poor girl. We still loves her to pieces though! She is wearing the clothes that Lily was wearing when Lily was 15-18 months! Anna still has the chubbiest legs and we love them, they match her chubby cheeks that everyone smiles at and comments on. Anna is crawling all over the place. She won't use her knees though. She crawls with her bum up in the air. She must not want to scratch her soft little legs on the ground. She will walk around the house holding onto the furniture. I think she may start walking soon. Thankfully she hasn't begun trying the stairs! Ammon and Lily love their baby sister and are super big helpers for mommy.

Catching up

I am attempting to catch up again, sadly I seem to say that far too often. Anyway, I feel like I am starting to get caught up around the house and I had a few minutes while Anna was napping so I thought that maybe I would start a blog! We have had our website, and it has been nice, but I thought I'd like to give the blog a try and see what I like working with better.
President Monson gave a talk recently where he encouraged us to "pray for abilities equal to our tasks and not for tasks equal to our abilities, then you will become the miracle" (Relief Society Session September 2007). I have thought about it much and began to really put it to action this last week. I have suddenly been able to accomplish more and it is amazing. It is so great to know that Heavenly Father is there and he hears us and wants to help us and he does! Prayer is wonderful. I am thankful for the tremendous peace and help it brings to my life. I know through prayer I can accopmlish the things I desire and become the miracle I need to keep my home and family running.
